Exams are held at regular dates each year.<\/p><h1>Who is it for?<\/h1><p>For those candidates who only need to take the relevant Management CPC exams, whether they have undertaken home study or need to resit.<\/p><p>Some may feel that time to attend a training course may be too much at a premium, so it is possible to prepare for the exam in your own time by use of our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kr-training.co.uk\/new-site\/management-cpc-home-study-2\/\">Home Study Packs<\/a>\u00a0which are available for either the Road Haulage or Passenger Transport exams.<\/p><h1>What do the exams involve?<\/h1><p>The\u00a0 Certificate of Professional Competence for Transport Managers consists of two examinations, in the following format:<\/p><p><strong>Multi Format Response paper<\/strong><em><br \/><\/em><\/p><p>\u2022 2 hour \u2018closed book\u2019 exam, consisting of 40 questions each worth 1 mark<\/p><p>\u2022 Multi Format Response papers involve questions from across the entire CPC syllabus<\/p><p>\u2022 This exam has a 70% pass mark<\/p><p>\u2022 Candidates may take a calculator and a dictionary into this exam, but no other materials<\/p><p><strong>Case Study Assessment paper<\/strong><\/p><p>\u2022 2 \u00bd hour \u2018open book\u2019 exam, consisting of 3 questions each worth up to 20 marks on these subject areas:<\/p><p>\u00a0 &#8211; Managing Drivers<\/p><p>\u00a0 &#8211; Managing Compliance and Risk<\/p><p>\u00a0 &#8211; Managing Transport Operations<\/p><p>\u2022 This exam has a 50% pass mark<\/p><p>\u2022 Candidates may take a calculator, a dictionary and the reference materials provided by us into this exam<\/p><h1>What does it cost?<\/h1><p>Exam fees are as follows and candidates will only pay for what they need:<\/p><p>\u2022 Learner registration fee (one off fee for all candidates) \u00a325.00 (VAT exempt)<\/p><p>\u2022 Multi format response paper \u00a349.00 (VAT exempt)<\/p><p>\u2022 Case study assessment paper \u00a349.00 (VAT exempt)<\/p><p>\u2022 Admin fee per exam \u00a336.00 (including VAT)<\/p><p>This means a first time candidate taking both exams will pay \u00a3195.00, whereas a resit of one paper will be \u00a385.00<\/p><h1>Where are they held?<\/h1><p>The Management CPC exams are held online from the candidate&#8217;s own location*, or may be taken paper-based at our approved exam centre in\u00a0 (please call to discuss).<\/p><p><em>*Candidates must have suitable equipment and internet connection as well as an appropriate, distraction-free location to sit the online exams.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-e16a6ae column-style-top\" data-id=\"e16a6ae\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b86d49a elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"b86d49a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<style>\/*!
